Pascal Orhan > Founder, principal analyst
Pascal Orhan (44) is the founder and Chief Analyst of Dataxis. He takes overall responsibility for the quality and content of the DATAXIS services. He continues to research and to write analyses, and also advises clients directly. Pascal Orhan is known as an expert in broadband and digital TV markets around the world. His expertise is based on extensive experience in various positions in sales and marketing, business development, market research, and consulting. Pascal's experience ranges from establishing and leading the Eastern and Central Europe practice of BIS Strategic Decisions back in the early 90's to the management, on behalf of the European Union.
In early 2000, Pascal decided to gradually refocus CMA Consulting, from custom consulting to online, multiclient, market research and analysis for the quadruple play markets and to rename CMA Consulting "Dataxis" to reflect the change.
Nicolas Gangloff > Associate, business development director
Nicolas Gangloff is an associate and Sales and Business Development Manager of Dataxis. He takes overall responsibility for the worldwide sales and business development of the DATAXIS products and services. Nicolas has spent the last 15 years in the market research and consulting industries in different management, sales and marketing positions. He has also carried out some market studies in the areas of Business TV and Telecom operators deregulation.
Nicolas is a graduate of IT and Electronics engineering and a master of business and administration from ESSEC. He started his career as sales field engineer in INTEL. He then joined BIS STRATEGIC DECISIONS in 1989 (now STRATEGY ANALYTICS), as business development manager for Southern Europe to promote and sell Multiclient and Consulting Services to large established accounts such as France Telecom, Telecom Italia, Thomson, Alcatel, European Space Agency, European Union. He also strongly contributed to the development of local sales partnerships in Spain and Italy.
Nicolas has had a major contribution in the development of the Gartner Group France which, between 1994 and 2000, was the World leading's authority on Information Technology (IT), providing clients with cutting-edge advice and targeted insights to support competitive decision making across IT spectrum for big accounts. As Sales and Marketing Director, Gartner Group France turnover grew by more than 300% growth in 4 years and the staff from 15 to 80 people.
In 2003, Nicolas decided to join Dataxis to sustain the growth of DATAXIS and to develop its client base in Europe and in the US, working closely with Pascal Orhan to define and deploy the DATAXIS products and sales strategy.
