Dataxis objective is to stay at the heart of the growing worldwide markets for Broadband, Digital and Mobile markets and provide our clients with reliable, up to date and in-depth data and advice to support their business strategy.
  • With this positioning, Dataxis has quickly become internationally recognized as one of the best sources of information and statistical intelligence, with hundreds of subscribers made up of operators, manufacturers, content providers, and governmental bodies all currently using our services. Although Dataxis was established in France, more than 90% of its business comes from outside of France, and a very significant proportion outside of Europe.
  • Dataxis is an independent company, controlled by its founder and backed by private investors.

Background :

  • Dataxis was founded in 1993. Originally known as Communications Media Associates (CMA), its main activity was to provide custom consulting and executive search for the communication and media sectors, as well as developing and investing in the cable area (creation of Sud Cable and UPC France).
  • In 1999, after the successful launch of new cable actors in France, CMA exited the investment activities related to cable and left consulting to CMA Consulting and executive search to CMA Management.
  • In 2005, CMA Consulting stopped its consulting business to focus on its growing multiclient online market research activities and was renamed Dataxis.
